For many start-ups and smaller companies that run a lean machine, maintaining in-house counsel is not always feasible or desirable. At Duerr Law, we can work with you to develop a custom “legal program” for your business that is tailored to your specific industry with various combinations of legal services available on a monthly basis.
Chris Duerr is a seasoned business law attorney with nearly 20 years of experience serving as in-house counsel for the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of General Counsel. In this position, Chris dealt with many and varied issues, including; employment real property, construction, tort, eminent domain matters as well as dealer and agent matters, audits and fraud investigations.
In addition to his in-house counsel experience, Chris completed the Wharton Management Program, giving him the business and legal tools necessary to successfully manage and advise companies at all stages of development. He offers a unique perspective and cost-effective counsel for your small business.
Whether you are a new company or a well-established operation, Duerr Law is well-positioned to provide legal counsel in business audits. Our business audit process focuses on four main areas – legal, insurance, financial and tax. During the business audit we identify current problems and potential risks. We also use the audit process to develop policies and procedures that help keep your business on track to meet financial, operational and managerial goals. We can also work in conjunction with your established financial advisor or assist you in finding the right financial professional for your organization.
